SimplyMerit sends email notifications to administrators and managers for a variety of activities. Administrators typically receive notifications related to import/export status. Managers receive notifications related to approvals and other cycle activity.
Important: Only managers with their enable_invitation field set to yes will receive these notification emails. If you need to stop notifications for one or more managers, set enable_invitation to no (either via Configuration → Employee Information or via import). Restoring enable_invitation to yes re-enables email communications.

SimplyMerit Support Import Emails
Import Succeeded
Sent when an import completes successfully.
Import Failed
Sent when an import fails.
Invitations and Account Access Emails
Invitation Instructions for User to Create a Password to Access SimplyMerit
Sent to a user who has been invited and needs to set their password to access SimplyMerit.
SSO Invitation Instructions
Sent when the company uses SSO and the user receives SSO-specific invitation instructions.
Approval Workflow Emails
New Request for Approval
Sent when a new approval request is generated and requires action.
Approved, Modified, and Rejected Request Messages
These emails notify recipients of the outcome of an approval request.
Approved Salary (Merit) Request
Sent when a Salary (Merit) request is approved.
Approved Team Bonus Request
Sent when a Team Bonus request is approved.
Approved Team Equity Request
Sent when a Team Equity request is approved.
Modified Team Request
Sent when a submitted request is modified during the approval process.
Rejected with Reason Team Request
Sent when a request is rejected and includes the rejection reason.
Export Emails
Export Completed
Sent when an export finishes (for example, a report or data export).
Letters Emails
Team Adjustment Letters Ready to Download
Sent when team letters are generated and ready to download.
Reminders
Reminder Emails
Reminder emails are sent based on configured cycle reminders.
