The Manager Activity section provides administrators with real-time visibility and control over manager participation, submission progress, and approval status across the compensation cycle. This page is used to monitor engagement, manage access, and perform bulk administrative actions when needed.

Managers Table Overview
The Managers table displays all managers included in the cycle along with their current access, activity, and approval status.
Each row represents a single manager and includes the following columns:
Name
Email
Lock Out of App
Enable Invitation
Invitation Sent
Invitation Status
Last Signed In
Merit Status
Bonus Status
Equity Status
Manager Access Controls
Lock Out of App
The Lock Out of App toggle allows administrators to immediately prevent a manager from accessing SimplyMerit.
When enabled (green), the manager cannot log in
When disabled, the manager may access the application based on their invitation status
This is typically used when:
A manager should no longer participate in the cycle
Access needs to be temporarily restricted
Enable Invitation
The Enable Invitation toggle controls whether a manager is allowed to receive an invitation to participate.
When enabled (green), the manager can be invited
When disabled, the manager cannot be invited or re-invited
This allows administrators to stage manager access without deleting manager records.
Invitations and Login Tracking
Invitation Sent / Invitation Status
The Invitation Sent and Invitation Status columns track whether a manager has been invited and their response state.
Common statuses include:
Send Invite (not yet invited)
Accepted
Pending
Administrators can resend invitations directly from this table as needed.
Last Signed In
The Last Signed In column shows the most recent login timestamp for each manager.
This is used to:
Identify inactive managers
Follow up with managers who have not yet accessed the system
Submission and Approval Statuses
The Manager Activity page displays separate status columns for each compensation type:
Merit Status
Bonus Status
Equity Status
Each status reflects the manager’s progress for that specific module.
Common statuses include:
Awaiting Submission
Pending Approval
Approved
These statuses update in real time as managers submit and administrators approve adjustments.]
Bulk Approval Actions
At the top of the page, administrators have access to bulk approval buttons:
Approve All – Salary
Approve All – Bonus
Approve All – Equity
These actions immediately approve all submitted adjustments for the selected compensation type across all managers.
Bulk approvals are typically used:
Near the end of the cycle
When final reviews are complete
To accelerate cycle close-out
Search and Sorting
Search
The search field allows administrators to quickly locate managers by:
Name
Email
Search updates the table dynamically.
Sorting
Columns in the Managers table can be sorted to organize managers by:
Name
Last Signed In
Status values
Sorting helps administrators prioritize follow-ups and reviews.
Administrative Use Cases
Manager Activity is commonly used to:
Monitor overall manager participation
Identify managers who have not logged in
Track submission progress by compensation type
Perform bulk approvals
Lock or unlock access as needed
Manage invitation timing

Locking a manager does not delete their data
