Accessing the Equity Tab on My Team
Equity recommendations for direct reports can be made on the My Team | Equity tab.
The fields available on this tab may vary depending on how equity programs are configured by your organization’s HR administrator.

Understanding the Equity Allocation Summary
The equity allocation figure shows:
The manager’s total number of equity units on the right side
The actual number of units allocated on the left side
This figure updates live as recommendations are entered.
If multiple equity programs are being used, the left and right arrows (< and >) can be used to toggle between different programs.
Entering Equity Values
Entering a value in one field will automatically update the other:
Entering a value in the Grant Quantity column will calculate the Value of Shares
Adjusting the Value of Shares will automatically update the Grant Quantity
Your screen may display different fields depending on how the equity program was configured.

Saving or Submitting Equity Recommendations
After entering equity recommendations, managers can:
SimplyMerit auto-saves any input, so no Save button is required
Select SUBMIT to notify your manager that your team’s recommendations are ready for review
When submitted, SimplyMerit will notify the approving manager via email.
