Managers receive notification to log into SimplyMerit when an administrator uses Invite to Planning for users who should have planning access.
Before sending invitations, review Configuration → User Control:
- Confirm the manager has Core Access.
- Confirm Planning Access is enabled if the manager should participate in planning.
- Confirm company-wide lockout settings are not preventing access.
When available, use Send Invitation or Resend Invite from User Control or the applicable manager invitation workflow. The invitation email includes instructions for the user to create credentials or access SimplyMerit through SSO, depending on the company configuration.
SSO customers
Customers using Single Sign-On (SSO) do not have to send invitation emails from SimplyMerit in order for managers to access the application.
For SSO launches, admins can use Ready SimplyMerit to Go Live on Configuration | System Control to launch planning without sending SimplyMerit invitation emails. Managers can then access SimplyMerit through the company’s SSO process.
Before launching this way, confirm each manager has Core Access and Planning Access enabled on Configuration | User Control. Use Invite to Planning only if you also want SimplyMerit to send planning invitation emails.
