FAQ: How do I enable specific modules like Salary, Bonus, or Equity for my cycle?

You can quickly confirm which compensation modules are active for your cycle directly from the Configuration > Budget Amounts page in SimplyMerit. This is the single source of truth for whether Salary, Bonus, and Equity are being processed in the current cycle.

Where to check

1. Go to Configuration

2. Select Budget Amounts

This page controls how budgets are calculated and clearly shows which modules are enabled.
 

What to look for

Near the top of the page, you will see a section labeled What Are We Processing? with toggle switches for:

• Salary (Merit)

• Bonus

If a toggle is switched on, that module is enabled for the cycle. If it is switched off, that module is not part of the cycle and will not appear for managers.

A quick tip

Even if the budget dollar amounts for a module are set to zero or data is loaded, the module can still be enabled or disabled using these toggles. The toggle controls managers' availability in the tool.
