While this is not a common situation during the merit planning cycle, it can occur. Your HR Administrator has the ability to reflect the termination directly in SimplyMerit. If the terminated employee remains in the application, you may simply ignore that person or ask that your HR Administrator change his/her salary to zero (0) so that it doesn’t impact the merit budget, or to lock or remove the employee.
